January is National Mentoring Month! One of my favorite quotes is from the great Maya Angelou,

“People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

This rings true for our mentoring program. Together as a community we are working to defend the potential of our youth. Let’s make sure they stay on the path of greatness and help them feel connected to their community (p.s. it’s known to have the same effect on our mentors!)

In honor of National Mentoring Month, we’d like to highlight our Business and Community Partners of the Year!



Northeast Delta Dental 2021 Business of the Year
Northeast Delta Dental have been amazing supporters of the BBBSNH mission. Not only do they provide financial support for mentoring matches, many of their employees are also involved as Bigs, including President & CEO,Tom Raffio. Their corporate culture exudes the qualities of our mission – sense of community, impact, connection, and opportunity.



Dover Police Department 2021 Community Partner of the Year
Chief Breault and his team of law enforcement officers are an extraordinary part of our Bigs in Badges Program (BIB). They are the largest BIB site in the program. Law enforcement professionals are matched with Littles to foster community connection and positive mentoring relationships amongst youth and law enforcement. Chief Breault is a Big himself and has been an advocate of his officers also getting involved as Bigs. His team has gone above and beyond.
